King Charles III keeps making international headlines regarding his health status, which has been disturbed by the cancer treatment adverse reactions. Despite the King still in great spirits, a cloud of uncertainty has covered the whole landscape for the royal followers. This time, the King wanted to send a heartfelt message, ignoring the bad time.
The 76-year-old King, who has been battling cancer since early 2024, is reflecting on human’s capacity for both comfort and harm. The King referenced a passage of the New Testament explaining that there are three virtues that the world still needs: faith, hope, and love.
Ahead of this year’s Maundy Service at Durham Cathedral, The King has shared an Easter message to all who celebrate.

“One of the puzzles of our humanity is how we are capable of both great cruelty and great kindness. This paradox of human life runs through the Easter story and in the scenes that daily come before our eyes—at one moment, terrible images of human suffering and, in another, heroic acts in war-torn countries where humanitarians of every kind risk their own lives to protect the lives of others. It is with these timeless truths in my mind, and my heart, that I wish you all a blessed and peaceful Easter.”
It is expected that King Charles III will have a short break with the Royal Family to share a sweet moment during the festive season. Stay tuned for further news on King Charles III’s health status and the future of the British Monarchy.
