BTS’ Jin has had fans, better known as ARMY, on an emotional roller coaster. First, he decided to announce the tracklist and release date of his sophomore album, “ECHO,” while he also made his debut as host in Netflix’s show, “Kian Bizzare B&B.”
On April 15, a press conference for the new Netflix variety show ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B’ took place at the JW Marriott in Jongno, Seoul. The full cast gathered for the press conference ahead of its second week of release to talk about the show.
During the press, BTS’ Jin wanted to be honest with the audience and ARMY about why he joined the cast of the Netflix’s show, including his thoughts before he was discharged from the South Korean military.
“The reason why I chose to appear on ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B’ is because before I was discharged from the military, Kian84 was appearing on my (YouTube) algorithm. I was genuinely curious about him as a person. People may appear differently from what you see in the media and what you see in person. I was curious, ‘Does he actually live like that? If he does, I want to see him in person.’ When I first received the offer, just like Ji Ye Eun said, I didn’t expect ‘Kian’s B&B’ to be like ‘Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast.’ I knew there would be more. I was taken aback when there were more interesting moments, and I wanted to witness them in person. That’s why I decided to join.”
