BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s “LIKE JENNIE” succeeded on Music Core

BLACKPINK’s Jennie has had a great run with her first studio album, “Ruby.” Despite the intense competition in the Kpop scene nowadays, the idol still stands firm in the charts and different popularity lists, including the ones the South Korean music program circuits use to measure the success of a song.

On April 12, Show! Music Core delivered another amazing and exciting episode full of surprises and a vibrant lineup of performers, including CLOSE YOUR EYES, Choi Yeo One, Shin Seung Tae, NEWBEAT, KiiiKiii, and TNX, among others.

After the show was about to conclude, the host announced the most thrilling section of the show, the winner of the weekly contest. KiiiKiii, LE SSERAFIM, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie were in a tight race for the crown. Ultimately, Jennie took the award home and accumulated another song at the No. 1 spot with “LIKE JENNIE.”
