K-pop powerhouse BLACKPINK could drop a new album by June 2025—just in time for their world tour starting in July. Industry insiders revealed on April 9 that the group is wrapping up recording, photo shoots, and music video prep. This project would be their first full-group release since BORN PINK, which dropped on September 16, 2022.
Their previous BORN PINK World Tour shattered records, earning 330 million USD in total ticket sales after hitting 78 million USD in its first two months. It went on to become the highest-grossing tour by a girl group, surpassing the Spice Girls. Following the tour, each member pursued solo ventures and then signed exclusive group contracts with YG Entertainment in late 2023 while keeping individual careers separate. Now, fans eagerly wonder if this June comeback will align perfectly with BLACKPINK’s 2025 tour launch.
Though YG Entertainment hasn’t confirmed details, fans are hyped! BLINKs are curious about the concept, style, and sound, and who could blame them? As the world waits for updates, BLACKPINK might just be ready to make history once again—proving why they remain one of pop music’s biggest groups.
