She’s sold over 1.5 million copies of ME alone, contributing to more than 2 million cumulative solo album sales overall. Her newest EP, AMORTAGE, tacked on another 462,057 units, solidifying her place in K-pop history.
#2. IU — 1,841,960 copies: Debuting in 2008, IU is a beloved singer-songwriter most known for her sweet tunes and heartfelt ballads. Though she sits in second place with roughly 1.84 million albums sold, Jisoo’s latest success edges her out in the April showdown.
#3. Taeyeon — 1,553,776 copies: Making a splash in the K-pop industry as the main vocalist of Girls’ Generation, Taeyon has made a way for herself. Her solo catalog includes hit albums like “My Voice” and “INVU,” all adding up to 1.53 million copies.
#4. Rosé — 1,533,869 copies: With her soulful vocals and rock-inspired style, Rosé has always stood out in K-pop. She sold around 1.53 million albums, placing fourth on the Circle Chart rankings. Meanwhile, her hit “APT.” is a viral sensation.
