On April 5, 2025, a much-anticipated ZEROBASEONE fansign in South Korea took a disturbing turn when a fan accused a staff member of crossing serious lines. According to the viral account posted on social media, the fan was told to perform an invasive self-check for hidden recording devices.
The staff allegedly pushed the fan to touch and pinch areas near their chest, touch herself near her breast area, and try jumping. Outraged fans took to various platforms, demanding an immediate explanation from ZEROBASEONE’s agency, WakeOne Entertainment. While security measures are common at fansigns, many argue this procedure went way beyond limits.

“Then they told me again to touch the area where my skin was sticking out above my bra. I said, ‘That’s my breast though’ and the staff member responded, ‘Yeah, that’s why you should feel it haha.’ So I touched it again. They went on to say things like ‘Try pinching it,’ ‘Just really touch it yourself,’ ‘Feel under your chest too’ and ‘Try jumping.’”
As of now, WakeOne Entertainment has remained silent, fueling more anger among ZEROSE. Many fans are calling for an apology to the attendees and stricter guidelines for staff conduct.
