Cha Eunwoo is gearing up to hit the big screen with First Ride, a film that follows four friends finally taking a trip together at age 30, with the actor taking on the leading role. On April 3, his agency Fantagio confirmed his casting, thanking fans for their continued support as Cha Eunwoo keeps growing his acting career.
But boom! Rumors keep swirling that he declined to participate in the Hong Sisters’ newest project to focus on First Ride. While neither Cha Eunwoo nor Fantagio addressed the speculation directly, fans suspect scheduling conflicts forced him to choose one or the other. The film will reportedly cast actor Kang Ha Neul, who’s still in talks for a role. If he joins, this duo might just break the box office!
Kang Ha Neul is currently promoting his thriller film YADANG: The Snitch, hitting theaters on April 16, and filming a new drama, Your Taste with Go Min Si. Meanwhile, Cha Eunwoo is busy wrapping up Netflix’s The WONDERfools, but if First Ride becomes a real thing, fans can expect a stellar collision of talents soon.
