BTS’ “Blood Sweat & Tears” crosses 1 billion views, marking another milestone for the group

BTS continues to dominate YouTube with their 2016 release “Blood Sweat & Tears,” which just smashed the 1 billion-views mark. This achievement makes it the group’s eighth music video to hit the coveted milestone, joining mega-hits like “Butter,” “Dynamite,” and “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey. ARMYs worldwide can’t stop celebrating as BTS keeps cementing their status as K-pop’s ultimate chart kings.

In the “Blood Sweat & Tears” video, the seven members (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) are spotted in a Renaissance-style art museum and deliver stunning choreography. Symbolism is at the center, with themes contrasting purity and temptation. By the end, viewers are surprised when V is revealed with torn-off angel wings, and Jin almost kisses a mysterious statue.

Suga, RM, and J-Hope teamed up to co-write the lyrics, creating one of the group’s signature tracks.
