BLACKPINK’s Jennie is still making a heavy rollout of her first solo studio album, “Ruby,” with tens of surprises for the fans. This time, the idol wanted to surprise her fans, better known as BLINKS, with a special performance video of a fan-favorite song.
On March 29 KST, Jennie released an official live performance video for “start a war,” one of the B-sides from “Ruby.” The new black-and-white video focuses on Jennie’s vocals, in contrast to her other singles, which were focused on her fierceness and heavy choreography.
The new music video was highly praised by the K-Netizens because it shows the layers of “Ruby,” being a vulnerable version of the idol. What did you think of the performance video? Let us know in the comments.
