Lisa spills the tea on the BLACKPINK track she won’t play anymore

Lisa recently spilled the tea on the BLACKPINK song that she’s not loving anymore! The Thai diva confessed she avoids listening to one of the group’s earliest bangers: “Boombayah,” released in 2016 as part of their debut single album “Square One.” The EDM anthem quickly made BLACKPINK a successful name, but for Lisa, the track’s epic dance moves—especially that intense head-whipping—made it tough to love.

“This is a bit savage, but probably Boombayah by Blackpink. Not because of the song, it’s just that the dance moves are really aggressive. There’s a lot of whipping your head, so it’s really intense to perform,” she revealed.

It’s not that she dislikes the music itself, but the sheer physical demand of performing it has left a mark! Even so, it’s clear “Boombayah” played a big role in making BLACKPINK a household name. Fast-forward to 2025, Lisa is currently lighting up TV screens on The White Lotus Season 3, she dropped her debut solo album “Alter Ego” in February and is planning to reunite with BLACKPINK later this year.
