After a 100-day Instagram hiatus, Taylor Swift hopped back on March 21 to gush over Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s new album, “I Said I Love You First.”  It was her first social media move since December 2024, when she wrapped her legendary Eras Tour celebrations. The “Blank Space” singer gave a shoutout to the couple on her Stories, saying “I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH.”

And even though many Selenators are feeling the hype, some believe that support for the album has been scarce. , the record dropped on March 21 with star-studded guests, including GloRilla, J Balvin, Tainy, Gracie Abrams, Charli XCX, Phineas, and The Marias. It also marks Selena Gomez’s first major music release since 2020’s “Rare.”

In a laid-back 33-minute Spotify chat, Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco said they created songs by just talking about life. Gomez insisted they never asked, “What should we write today?”—they simply vibed. Blanco joked he’d sneakily record those everyday lines for lyrics. Now that Taylor Swift has broken her Insta silence, fans are pumped for future collaborations and more squad energy!
