The BLACKPINK’s members have made waves inside of Kpop since they all released new solo musical projects. Although the group hasn’t made an official comeback for a couple of years now, they are still breaking records like no other Kpop music group.
On March 20, the famous girl group’s music video, “Lovesick Girls,” surpassed 800 million views on YouTube. The music video achieved the milestone in approximately four years, five months, and 18 years since its release on October 2, 2020.
The new milestone consecrates BLACKPINkas the Kpop act with the most music videos surpassing 800 million views on the platform. “Lovesick Girls,” became their 14th music video to reach it following “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “Boombayah,” “Kill This Love,” “As If It’s Your Last,” “How You Like That,” “How You Like That Dance Performance,” “Whistle,” “Ice Cream,” “Playing With Fire” and “Pink Venom.” Congratulations to the girls.
