King Charles III and Queen Camilla Parker have resumed their royal activities amid the multiple health scares the King has received over the past few months. The upcoming Vatican visit will serve as another overseas royal tour for the current Monarch of the United Kingdom, and possibly one of the most important.
Queen Camilla Parker and King Charles III will be in Italy from April 7 to April 10, when the first part of the visit will be solely focused on the Vatican and the Catholic Church’s 2025 Jubilee Year. Buckingham Palace confirmed the schedule on March 18 with the release of their upcoming activities.
The Vatican has not commented on a potential meeting between King Charles III and Pope Francis, due to his late health scares. However, OSV News has reported a meeting between the Monarch of the United Kingdom and the Pope is scheduled for April 8.
