BLACKPINK’s Jennie dropped her highly anticipated solo album, “Ruby” on March 7th, 2025, to commercial success and positive reviews form critics. The album was supported by previous bops like “Mantra,” “Love Hangover,” “ZEN,” “ExtraL,” and most recently, the freshly released “Handlebars.” And while this record already has 5 supporting tracks with a video under its belt, that doesn’t mean that the rest of the tracklist deserves to be ignored! For that reason, we’re counting down three options we think could work as the sixth and final single from Ruby:
3. Damn Right: This track brings the strongest R&B elements to “Ruby,” thanks to its hypnotic and minimalistic beats. It also has vocals from guests Kali Uchis and Childish Gambino, making it another collab song on the album. While this sultry song could make a great sexy and mysterious concept, this ranks lower because Jennie has already released 3 collaborations as singles.
2. With IE (Way Up): In this song, we see Jennie serving another hip-hop-flavored track on the record, this time with the help of Jennifer Lopez’s “Jenny from the Block.” And while the sample helps the track build up, Jennie sure does wonders with her sing-talk and rap approach. This could fit as the next single, brining Jennie’s fierce vibes yet again.
1.Twin: This heartfelt track closes “Ruby,” giving fans all the nostalgic vibes and tears right at the end of the album. This would make the perfect single because there aren’t many “vulnerable moments” as part of the singles run in the record, with the closest to that being “Handlebars.” In this sense, “Twin” would showcase Jennie’s most sensitive and intimate side.
