Wheesung passes away at 43

Choi Whessung, better known as Wheesung, brought sadness to his fans and his loved ones after he was found dead at his home on March 10th. The idol contributed to several lyrics, which ended up being hit songs, and the South Korean music industry will miss him.

Reports indicated that Wheesung was discovered collapsed in an apartment in Gwangjin gu, Seoul, at around 6:29 p.m. The idol’s family reported the incident, prompting emergency responders to be dispatched to the scene.

The South Korean authorities are currently investigating the cause of death as they believe a significant amount of time had passed before he was found. Primarily, reports indicated there are high chances of an overdose or suicide.

In addition, there were no signs of criminal activity, and it was confirmed they are looking into whether a will was left and the exact circumstances surrounding his passing. There are no further details about the idol’s burial. Stay tuned.
