BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is the new recipient of the Inkigayo weekly award

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has had one of the greatest runs in Kpop history with her new album, “AMORTAGE.” The idol put her heart into the musical project, and all of her efforts have paid off; even the South Korean music program circuits recognize her hard work.

On March 2nd, a new episode of SBS’ Inkigayo aired with exhilarating performances from KiiiKiii, Hearts2Hearts, ZEROBASEONE, and Gyubin. The debuts and comebacks were out of this world. What an amazing night, wasn’t it?

When it came to the first-place nominees, the audience was euphoric. Jisoo’s “Earthquake,” Hwang Garam’s “I’m Firefly”, and IVE’s “ATTITUDE” were competing toe to toe for this amazing recognition. Ultimately, Jisoo caused an “earthquake” by taking the award home.
