BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars continue to break YouTube records

BLACKPINK‘s Rosé and Bruno Mars released one of the major global hits of 2024. Despite being released last year, “APT” is still breaking records like no other in the Kpop scene, and it’s the ultimate proof the genre is slowly becoming essential in the music industry.

On February 26 at approximately 9:02 p.m. KST, the music video for “APT” officially surpassed 1.2 billion views on YouTube. The music video was originally released on October 18, 2024, meaning that it took just over 131 days and eight hours to hit the milestone.

This achievement marks the fastest music video by an Asian artist to surpass 1.2 billion views on YouTube and the fifth overall. Do you think “APT” will be breaking some major records as time passes on YouTube? you can celebrate this amazing milestone by revisiting the music video.
