BTS’ V just made ARMY’s day with a surprise Weverse update revealing his new title as Sergeant Kim. Since enlisting in December 2023, he has been fairly quiet on social media, so each appearance feels like a special treat. This time, he greeted fans saying—“It’s Sergeant Kim! Are you guys doing well?”—confirming his promotion and reminding everyone he’s thriving in the military.

V didn’t stop there. He hopped over to Instagram to share a fun photo dump showcasing his military life. One snapshot showed him holding a bouquet, while another placed him in a photo booth with a friend. He also flaunted his gym gains, built a snowman, and snapped a few mirror selfies. Also, he promised to see fans “in the warm spring” once winter finally passes.

With his expected discharge date set for June 10, 2025, ARMY can already sense the end of his service in sight. Though V’s updates are rare, these glimpses confirm he’s thriving! It’s not the first time the idol melts ARMY’s hearts. Previously, he had them swooning with pictures of his current physique, looking more buffed and muscular at around 72 kg.
