King Charles III and Prince Harry’s relationship has been deteriorating over the years after they ceased to talk to each other. Despite the occasional interactions between them, the Prince and the King seem pretty distant since Harry abandoned his royal duties.
On February 19, the Monarch of the United Kingdom had a conversation with former Army captain and para-sports athlete, David Henson, at Imperial College London’s Centre for Injury Studies. The king answered one question that left the royal followers because of his deeper meaning.
Henson mentioned his past participation in the Invictus Games, an event initiated by Prince Harry. However, King Charles III simply answered, “Fantastic,” seemingly avoiding any further discussion about the Duke of Sussex.
The moment was analyzed on “The Royals” podcast with Roya and Kate. The editors discussed the King’s apparent reluctance to engage in conversation about his son. The latest answer just added another layer of drama to the relationship.
Kate observed: “Now that could have been an opportunity for the King to say, ‘Oh yes, they’re marvelous’ or whatever that might be. But, he just let that comment go and the conversation continued and the King didn’t pick up on that at all.”
