BLACKPINK’s Jisoo makes waves with “AMORTAGE” first-week sales in South Korea

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has had a great week after releasing her first studio album, “AMORTAGE.” The idol granted interviews, released a music video, and made a sensational “Earthquake” performance. Ultimately, the rollout paid off.

On February 21, the Hanteo chart made a special announcement. Jisoo’s new album, “AMORTAGE” sold approximately 520,000 albums sales during its first week. After being released on Valentine’s Day, the idol skyrocketed her numbers.

“AMORTAGE” has claimed the No.5 spot for the best-selling album in the first week by a Kpop solo female artist in the Hanteo chart’s history. Jisoo also tops the list with “ME,” which sold over 1.1 million first-week sales.
