BTS’ j-hope has been living his best life since his discharge from the South Korean military. The idol was able to celebrate his birthday with the majority of his loved ones and he was more than grateful that he decided to give back all the love he has received in a meaningful way.
On February 18, in honor of his birthday, j-hope reportedly donated $138,508 to Asan Medical Center in Seoul. The center focuses on pediatric and adolescent patients to improve facilities for their medical care. On top of that, the center also focuses on research into rare and serious childhood diseases.
The idol wanted to express his thoughts on the generous donation stating he wants to help all the kids who are suffering right now because he wants them to have a healthy future with the help of professionals.
“I hope this donation can offer some help to children who are suffering right now. I sincerely wish for them to have a healthy and hopeful future. I want to give back the love that ARMY has always shown me. Starting with this birthday, I’m honored to continue donating every year.”
