After initially sharing that Felix suffered a fracture from a minor car accident, the agency clarified that the fracture line spotted on his X-ray appears to be an old childhood injury. While the accident worried fans, additional examinations revealed a pinched nerve close to the aforementioned injury.

JYP Entertainment explained that they first rushed Felix to nearby emergency rooms to ensure immediate attention, but weekend staffing delays made the process longer than usual. This added to the confusion about the severity of the accident. Finally, Felix was transferred to a higher-level general hospital for an MRI scan, where specialists confirmed that the biggest issue was the nerve complication, rather than the initial fracture.
