BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is back on the Kpop scene with their new mini-album, “AMORTAGE,” on February 14 at 2 p.m. KST. The latest project marks her first solo project in nearly two years, which brought excitement among the idol’s fans, better known as BLINKS.
The album’s titles come from the combinations of the Spanish word for love, “Amor,” and “Montage,” a filmmaking technique that assembles various scenes. The new fresh perspective reflects Jisoo’s incredible artistic approach to storytelling.
The album features a total of four tracks, “Your Love,” “Hugs & Kisses,” “Tears,” and its title track, “Earthquake.” Jisoo found the perfect balance while releasing two English-language songs and two songs in Korean.
The album tells the story of the excitement and intense emotions of falling in love and continues its journey to the struggle of maintaining a cheerful facade despite heartbreak. Ultimately, Jisoo has created an amazing work of art, which surely will be breaking records inside of the Kpop industry.
