BLACKPINK’s Rosé just made history with her Bruno Mars collab, “APT.”, surpassing the legendary holiday track, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey. On February 10, Billboard confirmed that “APT.” held the top spot on the chart for a jaw-dropping 15 consecutive weeks, claiming the record once dominated by the Christmas queen herself on the Billboard Global Exclusive U.S. chart.

Originally dropped on October 18, “APT.” is a playful song about a classic Korean drinking game. Rosé’s smooth vocals and Bruno Mars’ sweet harmonies proved irresistible, making the song a certified bop. Not only did the track snatch the Billboard Global Exclusive U.S. Chart’s top spot, but it also climbed its way into the Hot 100’s top five for three consecutive weeks.

In just under a year, “APT.” achieved what took Mariah Carey’s Christmas bop four years to accomplish. Rosé also became the first K-pop soloist ever to be at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Exclusive U.S. chart. Between January 31 and February 6, the song racked up 103.9 million streams and over 11,000 digital sales outside the United States.
