BLACKPINK’s Jisoo upcoming mini-album sparks reactions due to its length

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is back in the solo spotlight—though this time, her upcoming release “AMORTAGE” has provoked quite a reaction. Dropping February 14, the album is set to have just four tracks with a combined runtime of around twelve minutes. That’s right: Jisoo has opted for rather a concise project! While some fans are thrilled to enjoy her new music, others admit they hoped for a longer playlist.

Despite the initial letdown, the K-pop star has teased that more music is on the horizon. It looks like Jisoo handpicked the “AMORTAGE ” songs to create a complete journey, ensuring fans will get a perfect experience. Meanwhile, the singer has also been juggling her acting career: three major projects in less than a year, including a zombie-apocalypse show, “Newtopia,” the drama “Boyfriend on Demand,” and her upcoming big-screen debut “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.”

To top things off, AMORTAGE’s arrival will also be extra special! Jisoo launched the JISOO app, where fans can get exclusive updates, sneak peeks, and behind-the-scenes goodies. With so much on her plate, it’s clear Jisoo has no intention of slowing down.
