BTS’ achievements can’t stop coming! Their Japanese album “Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey” officially snagged Gold Certification in the UK, marking their 9th album to hit this milestone. Even while on hiatus, our K-pop kings prove their music has staying power.
On January 25, 2025, the British Phonographic Industry confirmed the news, celebrating the group’s record of 100,000 units sold in the UK. This album, featuring Japanese versions of their previously released tracks, is now their 9th work to go gold in the British Islands. It now joins records like “Love Yourself: Answer,” “Map of the Soul: Persona,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” “Face Yourself,” “Love Yourself: Tear,” “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever,” “Love Yourself: Her,” and “Proof.”

As ARMY counts down the days until all seven members reunite (around June 2025!), BTS continues to shatter records and redefine what a hiatus looks like. While most of their members are still serving their country (except for Jin and J-Hope), they’ve all found ways to drop their own solo music, giving fans a touch of their magic while they’re away.
