GOT7’s Jinyoung is ready to captivate viewers with his first post-military acting project, Channel A’s upcoming drama “The Witch.” According to K-media reports on January 23, 2025, he spilled the tea on what drew him to the role and how he prepared for this story. “The Witch” follows Lee Dong Jin (Jinyoung), who becomes infatuated with Park Mi Jeong (Roh Jeong Eui). However, he gets rejected after confessing his love, as Park Mi Jeong (labeled a “witch”) battles a tragedy.

In a recent interview, Jinyoung revealed his reasons for taking on the role of Dong Jin. He found the concept of silently protecting a loved one emotionally charged. He also praised director Kim Tae Kyun’s vision and described his character as a genius who focuses on what he wants. Catch his statement:
