BLACKPINK’s Jisoo reveals how to get over an ex in new interview

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is ready to take the small screen by storm in her upcoming K-drama “Newtopia” alongside Park Jung Min. In a recent promo clip, the duo was asked rapid-fire questions about everything from zombie survival to how to get over a breakup. Jisoo didn’t hold back, confessing she’d rather spend time with good people and enjoy delicious food than diving into old memories—talk about being Miss Moving On!

The question hints at the “Newtopia” show, which follows Jaeyoon (a soldier) and his ex-girlfriend Youngjoo, who reunite amid a zombie apocalypse in Seoul. But the tricky part? These two will have to join forces following their breakup, hacking their way through the undead. As the series unfolds, viewers will see how this dynamic duo and their love is put to the test.

Set to drop on February 7, 2025, the show is directed by Yoon Sung Hyun and penned by Ji Ho Jin and Han Jin Won. The cast also includes Kim Joon Han, Im Sung Jae, and Tang Jun Sang, promising a star-studded K-drama. The series comes as one of Jisoo’s first steps into solo stardom this year, complete with a musical comeback scheduled for February 14, 2025.
