K-Pop crash on the UK Charts: BLACKPINK’s Rosé and BTS’ Jimin bless the top 10

Two South Korean powerhouses have seriously shaken up the British music scene this week. BLACKPINK’s Rosé snags the No. 2 spot with her bright, pop-rock anthem “APT.” alongside Bruno Mars, while BTS’ Jimin claims No. 5 with his heartfelt single “Who.” Rosé’s “APT. ” has climbed up the chart for 12 weeks, hitting its peak of No.2 in the week of January 9-15, 2025. Meanwhile, the BTS member peaked at No.4 and continues to move around the top 10 after 19 weeks on the chart, securing the fifth spot in the tally in the week of January 9-15, 2025.

On the work front, Rosé released her debut solo album “rosie” on December 6, 2025, preceded by the success of “APT. ” The album also has other singles such as “number one girl” and “toxic ’till the end.” On the other hand, Jimin has been serving his military service since his enlistment on December 12, 2023. He is set to be discharged on June 11, 2025.
