BLACKPINK becomes the only group after One Direction with over 500 million Spotify streams on their solo members

BLACKPINK just joined One Direction in a rare achievement: each member’s solo debut has smashed 500 million streams on Spotify. Rosé pushed the group over the line when “On The Ground” hit the 500M mark on January 3, 2025.  This historic feat certifies the BLACKPINK squad as one of the most important groups in recent history.

Meanwhile, Rosé is riding high on “APT.,” her catchy collab with Bruno Mars, which has already soared past 800 million streams, even snagging Song of the Year at the 2024 Asia Artist Awards. Similarly, Jennie’s iconic “SOLO” reached 500 million streams after six years, and her most recent solo track “Mantra” racked up an impressive 5 million on its release day. Meanwhile, Lisa’s “LALISA” hit 500 million in June 2024, and she’s gearing up to drop her album “Alter Ego.”

Finally, Jisoo’s FLOWER bloomed to 500 million Spotify streams in just 585 days, making her the fastest South Korean female soloist to hit that mark. Her debut single album, “Me,” has also crossed 600 million total streams. With each member now boasting a half-billion-plus streaming debut, BLACKPINK’s star power seems endless.
