BTS’ Jungkook may be serving in the military, but that hasn’t kept him out of the spotlight. On January 8, 2024, fans noticed he’d unfollowed every account on his pet dog Bam’s Instagram—@bowwow_bam—and even deleted its Threads account. ARMY quickly started theorizing: Is Jungkook prepping for a new release? Many artists wipe their social media before dropping major news, and Jungkook is known for surprises.

Before enlistment, Jungkook launched a YouTube channel called “Bam’s dad,” a nod to his pet Doberman. He’s no stranger to giving fans intimate behind-the-scenes looks, so some people predict new content featuring Bam, while others think it’s all about a new project. If that were the case, the new project would come after Jungkook’s 2023 album “GOLDEN,” which spawned hits like “Seven” (feat. Latto) and “3D” (feat. Jack Harlow).

Now, with Bam’s Insta in blank, fans suspect another massive announcement. Could the account reappear with teaser photos? Is new music on the way? Even in uniform, Jungkook remains the talk of the town, keeping ARMY on their toes.
