The 82nd Golden Globe Awards will take place on January 5th to honor global cinema and American TV Dramas this year. After the expected success of the second season of “Squid Game,” Lee Jung Jae and the director Hwang Dong Hyuk will attend the ceremony.
The pair were reportedly heading to Los Angeles on January 3rd to attend the ceremony. However, “Squid Game” season 2 will face fierce competition in the television category from “Shōgun”, Netflix’s “The Diploma”‘, Apple TV+’s “Slow Horses”, Prime Video’s “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”, and Peacock’s “The Day of the Jackal.”
With “Squid Game” season 2 continuing its momentum, all eyes are on whether the show will win at the Golden Globe Awards. However, several experts predicted the series might not snatch any awards this time around.
