Andrew Garfield wants everyone to know he’s not getting into Spider-Man 4 anytime soon—though he admits nobody’s likely to believe him after the claims he wouldn’t be a part of “No Way Home.” In a new GQ interview, the 41-year-old actor shut down rumors he’s reprising his Peter Parker role in Tom Holland’s next Spider film. “I’m gonna disappoint you,” Garfield told the magazine.
Yet, skepticism comes from how he denied his involvement in “No Way Home…” only to show up in the film anyway! Still, the actor hasn’t slammed the door shut forever. He previously told PEOPLE Magazine he’d consider joining the saga again if there’s a “great idea, a great concept.”
For now, the “Amazing Spider-Man” star is focusing on other projects, like his film “We Live in Time” and an upcoming Luca Guadagnino movie. Meanwhile, Tom Holland remains the official Spider-Man, ready to begin filming his next installment in summer 2025.
Despite Andrew Garfield’s stance, fans are still theorizing about potential cameos in future multiverse flicks. Sure, he says there’s no cameo on the horizon, but given his track record, who knows? When it comes to Andrew Garfield, you can’t always believe what he says!
