BTS’ fans, better known as ARMY, are completely dedicated to the members of the famous boy band when it comes to their birthdays. They even named December “December” in honor of Kim Taehyung, better known as V.
V is currently enlisted in the South Korean military ahead of the celebrations of his 29th birthday. However, the fans couldn’t miss this important date and decided to make almost 70 birthday banners in Chuncheon City, strategically placed near the Ssangyong unit area around the SDT barracks where Taehyung is currently stationed.
This heartwarming initiative was held by both Korean and global fans, who will adorn the city streets from late December through the first week of January. It was also reported the project includes 50 streetlight banners arranged by the fanbases BTS V Union and V Inside. While an additional 20+ tarpaulin banners were coordinated by other fan pages.
The banners were designed with heartfelt messages such as “Happy Birthday Taehyung” and “Miracle of Winter V.” K-Netizens have already spotted several banners for BTS’ V and surely he will spot them as well pretty soon.
A local who was travelling near Taehyung’s military base posted about seeing his birthday banners. Hope Taehyung knows how much he is loved by everyone and especially solo fans🥹 pic.twitter.com/IszFHoCf9p
