Meghan Markle recently turned heads in a dreamy soft-pink dress at a baby shower for her close friend, Soho House’s Chief Membership Officer, Samantha Stone. The Duchess of Sussex chose the “Alice” linen dress from Posse, a design that gives warm and modern vibes.

Her fashion choice was all bout subtle Barbie sprinkles, a rare choice for the Duchess. Meghan Markle typically goes for neutral color palettes, yet this baby pink outfit delivered a welcome surprise. It has also totally been a major shift in style since she moved to Montecito in 2020.
Pink rarely made appearances in her royal wardrobe, but carries a deeper meaning for Meghan. She wore blush hues to 2018’s Trooping the Colour and during an engagement with the late Queen. In her Netflix documentary, “Harry & Meghan,” the mother of two admitted she often chose neutral outfits to avoid overshadowing senior royals.
But royal followers shouldn’t get too excited about this pinky choice. Fashion experts like Marina Thomas have stated that pink could also mean “weakness” and “fragility,” possibly making it a color option that Meghan Markle doesn’t favor way too often. Oh, but when she does? She totally eats it up!
