BLACKPINK’s Rosé to be the first K-pop soloist at t Japan’s GMO Sonic 2025

BLACKPINK’s Rosé is making moves again! The K-pop diva is set to perform at GMO Sonic 2025, one of Japan‘s biggest music festivals. This moment marks Rosé as the first-ever K-pop soloist to grace the stage, making history and hyping up her Japanese fandom. With her meteoric solo era—fueled by collabs like the “APT,” and her smash studio album “rosie”—this performance will sure be the cherry on top.

The festival, hosted at the legendary Saitama Super Arena on January 25-26, will feature Rosé as the headline act for Day 2. And while she’s the only K-pop solo act in 2024, other South Korean artists have taken the stage previously. For example, aespa and RIIZE performed at GMO Sonic last year.

2024 has been a hype year for Rosé, especially since the October release of “APT.” with Bruno Mars. Her debut studio album “rosie” has taken the music world by storm with singles like “Number One Girl” and “Toxic Till the End.”

Mark your calendars January 26 as you wait for Rosé
