BLACKPINK’s Rosé rules the United States charts with her debut album

BLACKPINK’s  Rosé, is redefining solo stardom with her album “rosie,” creating waves in the music world since its release on December 6, 2024. The K-pop vocalist quickly secured spots on both domestic and international charts upon having her project out. This time, Rosé marked a historic milestone as the first female K-pop artist to have two songs, “toxic till the end” and her collaboration with Bruno Mars on “APT.,” chart simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100, United States’ biggest singles chart.

“toxic till the end” debuted at No. 90 on December 18, 2024, joining “APT.,” which held strong at No. 20 in its eighth week, showcasing Rosé’s undeniable influence and hitmaker aura. The success of “APT.” was noticeable, peaking at No. 8 on the Hot 100 and dominating the Global Spotify chart, where it still is a massive hit.

Prior to the album’s release, Rosé hosted an intimate listening party for 80 lucky attendees just before the project dropped. The record, which has been promoted with 3 singles, “Number One Girl,” “APT.,” and “toxic till the end,” debuted at number three on Billboard 200. This marked the first time a female K-pop soloist hit the top 10 in the chart.
