BTS’ is still writing history despite most of the members currently enlisted in the South Korean military. The boys paved the way for tens of new idols in the Kpop scene and they are proving why they are still at the top of the game for years now.
On December 9 at approximately 3:54 am KST, BTS’ music video for their song, “Dynamite,” surpassed 1.9 billion views. This astonishing milestone took about four years, three months, and 17 days since its release on August 21, 2020.
The music video makes history by becoming BTS’ first music video to reach this YouTube Milestone as well as the first Korean boy group music video to achieve this feat. On top of that, “Dynamite,” also made YouTube history as it became the fastest Kpop group music video to hit the 1.8 billion views mark.
