G-Dragon is publicly known for being one of the most controversial idols of the last couple of years, after finding himself surrounded by controversies over his last legal issue, the idol is still the talk of the town. Now, he has commented on the latest martial law declaration by the president of South Korea.
On December 4, the writer, Ha Sang Wook, posted a photo of his poem on social media, which read, “Just go away on your own, please.” Although the author didn’t reveal further information, everyone speculated it was a veiled critique of the president.
G-Dragon also reacted to the post by liking it, which is commonly interpreted as an expression of agreement. Ultimately, fans globally believe this is the idol’s indirect way of expressing disapproval of the martial law declaration.
The President of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol announced martial law on December 3 but he rescinded the declaration and withdrew the troops on December 4 after 190 votes were in favor to demand the lifting of martial law.
