Adele’s two-year “Weekends with Adele” residency at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace has officially come to a wrap. The 16-time Grammy winner concluded her final show on November 24, leaving fans with teary eyes due to her taking an indefinite music break.
“I will miss you terrible. I don’t know when I’m next going to perform again. Of course, I’ll be back. The only thing I’m good at is singing and things like that. I just don’t know when I want to next come on stage, but I love you.”
Adele reflected on the residency and what’s next, sharing an emotional tribute to her 14-year-old son Angelo. While holding back tears, she revealed that the residency was her decision because she “f*cking” hated touring. But the main reason was to keep her son’s life normal, which she admitted was possible due to the residency. She also thanked her partner Rich Paul, referring to him as her “husband.”
For now, Adele is stepping away from the stage, leaving fans wondering when they’ll get to see her perform again. But one thing’s for sure: her time in Las Vegas was the perfect way to balance both artistry, stardom and personal life.
