Jennie from BLACKPINK is keeping BLINKs on their tippy toes with the announcement of her debut solo album dropping in 2025. After dominating this year with her bop “Mantra” and raking in four wins at the MAMA Awards, Jennie isn’t one to sit down, she’s about to shake up the game with more music.
On November 25, Jennie spilled the tea on Weverse, thanking fans for their love and hyping up her long-awaited solo album. Her October release, “Mantra,” is still a global hit, boasting over 100 million views on YouTube. Now, she’s gearing up for the next step in her solo career, a debut album! This will mark the first time the BLACKPINK member will release a full body of work, as her previous releases “SOLO” and “You & Me” under YG Entertainment were stand-alone singles.

Meanwhile, Jennie’s solo future continues shining bright! The idol self-founded her own label Odd Ateller and joined forces with Columbia Records while having control of all her career moves. Despite all BLACKPINK members choosing to focus on their solo projects, they will remain as a group under YG Entertainment.
