Prince Harry’s Netflix “Polo” documentary? Meh, critics say

Earlier this year, it was rumored that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would continue working with Netflix for the release of more Sussex documentaries. Now, the father of two is having his time to shine with upcoming documentary, “Polo.” The five-episode series will follow “elit global players” as they compete in the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are credited as executive producers of the project, which goes to prove the Duke of Sussex’s love for this sport. However, despite the royals’ commitment, and money invested on their new documentary, the reception for the “Polo” official trailer has been abysmal. It even has commentators Mike Graham and James Max raising eyebrows, calling it “not accesible.”

With its luxury vibes and exclusivity, they’re skeptical about its appeal to the average Netflix viewer. In addition, they also brought up animal abuse as another reason to make viewers feel even more distanced from the documentary. The worst part? The pair affirmed that the documentary will focus mainly on Nacho, Prince Harry’s polo friend, rather than on the Prince himself.

Will this documentary survive the backlash after is premiere?
