BLACKPINK‘s Rosé and Bruno Mars had such an incredible night at the 2024 MAMA Awards night two, held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka. Although they were the most talked about celebrities during the show, they also received a lot of backlash for their performance.

On November 22 KST, the duo took the stage by storm by showcasing their undeniable chemistry and redemption of a slightly new version of their song, “APT.” This was the first time they performed the song live, and the fans weren’t happy about it.

The K-Netizens took over social media to express their discontent with Rosé and Bruno Mars’ performance because it was pre-recorded rather than a pure live performance at the event. Some took over Mnet’s official YouTube channel to write negative comments about this performance.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé hasn’t released any official statement following this increasing controversy and discontent from the general public. If the controversy grows exponentially, at some point she must address it.

[#2024MAMA] ROSÉ (로제), Bruno Mars - APT. | Mnet 241122 방송
