Rosé from BLACKPINK is serving up drama and depth ahead of her December 6 solo album “rosie.” In an exclusive with i-D, the K-pop star shared her fave lyrics and revealed the movies that best represent her album’s vibe. Spoiler: it’s juicy. She sassily spilled the tea on how her ex stole her jewelry, making a strong songwriting revelation!
But her top lyric? “I can forgive you for a lot of things, for not giving me back my Tiffany rings. But I’ll never forgive you for one thing, my dear, you wasted my prettiest years.” In addition, she likened the “rosie” album to different movies, including “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” (for the toxic romance), “Sex and the City” (she’s giving Carrie Bradshaw energy), and “Inside Out” for its emotional rollercoaster vibe.
As if that wasn’t enough, she’s gifting fans a pre-release single, “Number One Girl,” on November 22. Plus, let’s not forget her Bruno Mars collab, APT., that had everyone talking (and listening). Buckle up for December 6, because Rosie is coming in hot!
