BTS’ Jin spills the tea on his duet with Red Velvet’s Wendy

BTS’ Jin had fans hyped at his Happy Special Stage LIVE concert in Seoul on November 16, celebrating the release of his solo mini-album “Happy.” But the sweetest moment? When Jin poured his heart out, thanking Red Velvet’s Wendy for her stunning vocals on their duet, “Heart on the Window.” Just like that, two iconic K-pop idols from the third generation come together to maximize their joint slay.

“I was thinking about who I should duet with for this track, and Wendy immediately came to mind. One day, I was out dining with friends and mentioned how much I loved her voice.”

He then revealed that his team reached out to Wendy and asked them if she would like to collaborate, feeling a little shy. And boom! The rest is history.

The night wasn’t just about the music, though. Jin kept the vibes playful with audience games like This or That and treated fans to his earlier hits, from the quirky Super Tuna to the soulful Moon. The setlist, which also showcased songs from “Happy,” including “I’ll Be There” and “Running Wild,” was a real party for ARMY (that’s the name BTS fans wear proudly).
