Rumors of a BLACKPINK reunion have been sending fans into a frenzy, and Lisa finally decided to spill the tea. In a recent with Billboard, she shared her hype about the idea of having BLACKPINK together again. The group’s reunion is (almost) confirmed, but the big question remains—are we getting new music, a tour, or something else entirely?
During her chat with Billboard on November 14, 2024, Lisa shared glimpses of her journey as a solo artist, and fans were buzzing when she hinted at BLACKPINK’s stellar return. “I can’t wait,” she said in the interview. Previously BLACKPINK’s agency, YG Entertainment, said the group would return with a full album and a global tour,
But boom! When Billboard asked the Thai idol about the possibility, she responded with skepticism, saying: “That’s what they say?“ Later on, Lisa’s point person on staff, Alice Kang, told Billboard “We’ll have to wait and see what YG confirms,” adding a sprinkle of intrigue to the revealing conversation.
Each BLACKPINK member has been blazing their solo works this year, even arranging a deal with YG Entertainment for group projects while staying independent individually. Lisa has been particularly busy with her new self-established label “LLOUD,” and teaming up with RCA Records. But BLACKPINK’s 2025 plans? It’s still a bit of a mystery!
