King Charles III has been the hot trending topic in the Royal Family because of his recent health scares during his trip to Australia and Samoa. Despite the tens of rumors circulating online about the King’s health status, he might just knock them off with this unique way of celebrating his birthday.
On November 14, King Charles III will turn 76 years old and will mark the special date by hosting a surplus food festival. It is reported that the King will open two hubs signed to save and circulate tonnes of surplus food to make the first anniversary of the Coronation Food Project.
The Coronation Food Project is an initiative to support charities feeding the nation with unwanted food. It is expected the hubs will help charities just as FareShare and the Felix Project to support those communities who are in need.
King Charles III will also tour the new facility and take a look at a newly installed industrial freezer, which will increase capacity by 400 percent, improving the opportunities for all charities to preserve more surplus food. What a nice way to celebrate the King’s birthday, isn’t it?
