BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s “APT” breaks PSY’s long-standing record on YouTube

BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ new song, “ATP” was a great surprise for all the Kpop stars because of the interesting collaboration between the artists. However, the song is still having a great run on major streaming platforms as they broke PSY’s long-standing record on YouTube.

On November 9 KST, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Rosé and Bruno Mars’ shit collaboration single surpassed 300 million views on YouTube. The music video was released on October 18 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning that it took just 22 days, 6 hours, and 30 minutes to reach the milestone.

The record was held previously by PSY’s 2013 hit, “Gentleman” with approximately 25 days. The record remained unbeaten for 11 years until BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars earned the crown. “APT” is now the fattest music video of 2024 by any artist to hit 300 million views on YouTube, and the sixth-fastest of all time.
