Taylor Swift breaks one major record in nominations among female artists in Grammys history

Taylor Swift has surprised everyone with her impeccable musical projects over the years. Since the start of the re-recordings of her first six albums, the artist is completely focused on delivering quality on every song. Taylor’s efforts have paid off in the 2025 Grammys nominations.

On November 8, the Recording Academy was pleased to reveal this edition’s nominees and the fans quickly noticed that Taylor Swift broke one major record among female artists in the Grammys history.

Taylor Swift received a nomination for “Album of the Year” with her acclaimed album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” On top of that, she broke the record for most nominations in the category among female artists with seven nominations, surpassing Barbra Streisand with six nominations.
