On November 8, the Recording Academy was pleased to reveal this edition’s nominees and the fans quickly noticed that Taylor Swift broke one major record among female artists in the Grammys history.
Taylor Swift received a nomination for “Album of the Year” with her acclaimed album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” On top of that, she broke the record for most nominations in the category among female artists with seven nominations, surpassing Barbra Streisand with six nominations.
